Sorry for the lack of posts this month,
Before I knew it, it was already almost August haha.
So in this post I wanted to share some life drawing i've done recently as well as an awesome class-type anatomy course thing... i'll explain it better further down.
So firstly, the anatomy course.
I feel like this is a really awesome course that any artist should consider doing.
Now, why do I say this?
Well, I was looking for an anatomy course, because at the moment I feel as though I am a slave to references. I want to be able to draw without the need of references.
I also don't like to read, so I knew that a book wouldn't cut it for me. I wouldn't learn anything from it even if I could muster up the motivation to read it.
And lastly, I couldn't afford to do a course. Nor are there any courses within a reasonable distance from where I live.
I simply didn't/don't have the time to do the course.
Then I found this course:
http://www.proko.com/human-anatomy-for-artists/
Basically, its a course, done in short dvd's. It comes with 3D models within your chosen internet browser, so you can really study the model even outside of your video classes.
Secondly, although they are formulated as proper classes, with assignments and homework, there are no due dates, because they are just video's not proper online classes.
And Lastly, and possibly the best part, is that you are provided with the teacher's email, so if you do want comments and feedback on your assignments you can send them to him.
Its basically a self-study course, with help but not forcing you into any time restrictions.
Ok, moving on from that,
i've done some live drawing recently (in order of 5min, 2min &1min):
Until next time =P
